Paneer Do Pyaza
A classic North Indian curry made with soft paneer cubes and double the onions, cooked in a rich tomato-spice gravy.

🧂Ingredients (What You Need)
- 250 g Paneer (cut into medium cubes)
- 3 tbsp Oil or Ghee
- 2 large Onions (cut into big petals)
- 1 large Onion (finely chopped)
- 2 medium Tomatoes (pureed)
- 1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
- 2 Green Chillies (slit lengthwise)
- 1 tsp Vaahe Cumin Seeds
- 1 tsp Vaahe Coriander Powder
- ½ tsp Vaahe Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Vaahe Red Chilli Powder (adjust to taste)
- 1½ tsp Vaahe Garam Masala
- 1 tsp Vaahe Kasuri Methi (crushed)
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp Fresh Cream (optional but recommended)
- 2 tbsp Fresh Coriander Leaves (chopped)
- ½ cup Water (as required)
👩🍳 Recipe Method (How to Make)
1. Lightly sauté paneer cubes in 1 tbsp oil until golden on the edges. Remove and soak them in warm water to keep soft. Set aside.2. Heat remaining oil/ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them crackle. Add finely chopped onion and sauté on medium heat until golden brown.3. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chillies. Sauté for 1 minute until aromatic. Add tomato puree and cook until oil starts separating. Now add: Vaahe Turmeric powder Vaahe Red chilli powder Vaahe Coriander powder Salt Mix well and cook for 2–3 minutes.4. Add the sautéed paneer cubes and onion petals. Gently mix so the onions remain slightly crunchy. Add water as needed to adjust gravy consistency.5. Sprinkle garam masala and crushed kasuri methi. Add fresh cream and mix gently. Simmer for 3–4 minutes on low flame.6. Turn off heat. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.7. Serve Paneer Do Pyaza hot with: Butter Naan Tandoori Roti Jeera Rice or Plain Rice Perfect for family dinners or festive meals.
